On January 22, 2025, Barcelona hosted the X Tribuna Immoscòpia, established as a key event in the real estate sector in Catalonia. Organized by the Real Estate Agents Association of Catalonia, the event brought together over 500 attendees to discuss the main challenges of the housing market.

The event, hosted by journalist Cristina Riba, was inaugurated by Josep Rull (President of the Parliament of Catalonia), David Lucas (Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Agenda), Lídia Guillem i Simón (Secretary of Housing of the Government of Catalonia), and Joan Ramon Riera (Housing Commissioner of the Barcelona City Council). Also speaking at the event were Gerard Duelo, President of COAPI Barcelona and FNAPI, and Vicenç Hernández, President of AIC and ANAI.

During the event, key topics such as access to housing, market regulation, and the need for public-private collaboration were discussed. In his conference, economist Gonzalo Bernardos predicted a record number of second-hand home sales in 2025, driven by lower interest rates and the rental crisis.

Experts agreed on the urgency of reviewing policies and streamlining processes to promote construction and investment in housing. The Tribune reaffirmed its role as a space for reflection and debate on the future of the sector.
