The storage market in Catalonia closed the fourth quarter of 2023 with an increase in the number of sales offers, reaching a total of 1,027 offers. This quarterly increase of 12% was accompanied by a rise in the average price per square metre of 5.22%, reaching €893/m². Despite this increase, the average price offered per storage room fell slightly by 0.74%, reaching €6,362.
The storage rental market, on the other hand, experienced a slight decrease in the number of offers, with a quarterly decline of 5.18%. However, rental prices per square metre remained stable, with a slight quarterly increase of 0.1%, reaching €19.98/m². The average monthly rent offered stood at €103.4, with a quarterly decrease of 0.78%.
In the province of Barcelona, the number of offers for sale grew by 11.81%, while the price per square metre increased by 2.14%, reaching €1,177/m². The rental market in the province of Barcelona also showed a slight adjustment, with a quarterly decrease of 4.77% in offers and a stabilisation in prices. This report reflects a relatively stable storage market in Catalonia, with moderate increases in both sale and rental prices. Despite the slight decrease in rental supply, prices have remained at consistent levels, suggesting a balanced market.
