The storage room market in Catalonia experienced an increase in the volume of sales offers during the second quarter of 2022. 1,010 offers were registered, representing a quarterly growth of 7.45%, although a year-on-year decrease of 15.97%. The average price per square metre was €1,106/m², with a quarterly increase of 7.45%. Despite this growth, the average price offered per storage room fell by 2.82%, standing at €6,004.
As for rentals, the number of offers increased by 2.08% quarter-on-quarter, with a total of 637 at the end of the quarter. The average price per square metre for rent was €20.14/m², which represents an increase of 3.18% compared to the previous quarter. This report underlines the growing demand for storage rooms for rent, with an increase in rental prices, although with adjustments in sales prices.
