The storage market in Catalonia closed the first quarter of 2023 with a slight decrease in the number of sales offers and an increase in prices per square metre. There were 1,218 offers for the sale of storage rooms, which represented a quarterly decrease of -0.81%, but a year-on-year increase of 29.57%. The average price per square metre increased by 14.68% quarterly, standing at €905/m².
As for the rental market, the number of offers grew by 12.56%, reaching 950 at the end of the quarter. The average rental price per square metre increased by 8.77%, reaching €20.35/m². Barcelona remains the province with the highest prices, both for sale and for rent, although it also experienced downward adjustments in some areas.
This report highlights the overall stability of the sector, with a trend of moderate growth in rental prices, while sales show a slight correction.
