Report on the Commercial Premises Market in Catalonia – 3T 2023

The commercial premises market in Catalonia experienced a general decline in the third quarter of 2023. The number of sales offers fell by 21.8% quarter-on-quarter, reaching 23,857, while the average price per square metre stood at €1,231/m², marking a quarterly reduction of 2.52%. In terms of rent, the market also showed a slowdown, with a 12.39% drop in the number of offers, although prices per square metre remained relatively stable, averaging €10.63/m² per month. The report highlights that Barcelona continues to lead the market in terms of the number of offers and prices, although it has also experienced a downward adjustment. In the province of Barcelona, ​​the average price per square metre for sale was €1,366/m², while for rent it remained at €11.35/m². This behaviour reflects the deceleration trend observed in the commercial premises market throughout Catalonia.
