The commercial premises market in Catalonia showed general stability during the first quarter of 2022, with slight adjustments in the main variables. The number of offers for sale was 31,105, with a slight quarterly decrease of 2.39%, but a year-on-year growth of 20.31%. The average price per square metre remained practically stable at €1,240/m², with a slight drop of 0.31% compared to the previous quarter.
In the rental market, the number of offers increased by 5.42% quarterly, reaching 26,230 offers. The rental price per square metre increased by 1.85%, reaching €11.03/m² per month. This moderate increase in rental prices reflects a recovery of the market following the effects of the pandemic.
The report highlights that, despite price stability, the market for premises remains heterogeneous, with significant territorial differences. The outlook for the coming months indicates a possible improvement in activity.
