The Tarragona garage market report for the fourth quarter of 2019 shows a positive evolution in both prices and the number of sales. During this period, the city of Tarragona recorded 123 garage sales, which represents a fall of -23.8% compared to the previous quarter, but a significant year-on-year increase of 88.5% compared to the same quarter in 2018. In the last twelve months, 584 sales have been recorded, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 9.57%.
As for prices, the garage market in the city of Tarragona reached an average value of €1,080/m² in the fourth quarter of 2019. Although this represents a slight quarterly decrease of -1.46%, the year-on-year variation is positive, with an increase of 7.04%. This behaviour reinforces the recovery trend in prices since the beginning of the year.
At provincial level, the average price of garages in Tarragona stood at €855/m², with a quarterly increase of 1.68% and a year-on-year growth of 5.57%. In total, 852 sales were made in the province during this quarter, which represents an increase of 46.7% compared to the previous quarter and a year-on-year increase of 58.4%. Throughout 2019, 3,413 garage sales were recorded in Tarragona, 45.3% more than in 2018.
This report highlights the stable and sustained growth of the garage market in Tarragona, both in terms of prices and sales activity, suggesting a market in consolidation with positive prospects for the future.
