This increase is indicative of the reactivation of the market after the initial impact of the health crisis. However, prices did not follow this trend, showing general declines. The average price per square metre in Catalonia was €1,115/m², with a quarterly drop of -1.30% and a year-on-year adjustment of -2.58%.
In terms of garage prices, the average was €14,968, representing a quarterly decrease of -0.60% and a year-on-year decrease of -2.00%. At the provincial level, Barcelona recorded the highest number of transactions, with 4,978 sales, and an average garage price of €16,261. The city of Barcelona, in particular, saw an increase in sales, reaching 1,193 transactions, but the average garage price fell by -1.36% year-on-year, standing at €20,490.
This report reflects a recovery in activity in the garage sector in Catalonia, although prices continue to adjust downwards after several quarters of decline.
