The garage market in Catalonia showed a downward trend in the third quarter of 2023, with a significant reduction in the number of offers for sale and rent. The number of offers for garages for sale decreased by 18.98% compared to the previous quarter, with a total of 23,864 offers registered. As for prices, the average price offered per garage stood at €13,982, marking a year-on-year drop of 4.28%.
In the rental market, the number of offers also fell by 7.15% quarterly, although with a significant year-on-year increase of 41.28%. Rental prices per square metre remained relatively stable, with a slight quarterly increase of 0.53%, standing at €7.52/m².
This report highlights that, although the number of offers for both sale and rental has decreased, prices have shown greater stability, especially in rentals, reflecting an adjustment in supply and demand within the garage market in Catalonia.
