The storage market in Catalonia showed a slight upturn in activity during the second quarter of 2023. 1,125 sales were recorded, representing a quarterly increase of 2.1% and a year-on-year growth of 1.5%. This performance reflects stable demand from buyers looking for additional storage solutions.
The average price per square metre of storage rooms for sale was €1,102/m², with a slight increase of 1.4% compared to the previous quarter and a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. The average price per storage room was €6,250, showing a positive variation of 1.8% compared to the previous quarter.
In the rental market, there was a 4.3% increase in the number of offers, reaching 692. Rental prices also experienced growth, with an increase of 2.9% compared to the previous quarter, standing at an average of €20.60/m² per month. This report suggests that the storage market remains active and growing, with moderate increases in prices and constant demand for both purchase and rental.
