The commercial property market in Catalonia has experienced an increase in activity during the second quarter of 2024, with a 77.16% rise in sales listings, reaching a total of 38,643 available properties. The offered price per square meter grew by 3.11% quarterly, standing at €1,296/m², while the average sale price reached €230,542, with a year-on-year increase of 1.51%.
Regarding rentals, the number of listings also grew, reaching 28,091, representing a 13.66% quarterly increase. The rental price per square meter also showed a 2.59% rise, reaching €11.1/m² per month, confirming an upward trend in this sector. Barcelona remains the focal point of the commercial property market, with higher prices than the rest of the region. The Catalan capital recorded a price of €2,093/m², maintaining its leadership in the commercial market. The increase in activity in both sales and rentals demonstrates the growing demand for commercial properties in Catalonia, despite the reduction in supply in some provinces.
