The garage market in Catalonia closed the fourth quarter of 2021 with a decrease in the volume of available offers, although prices remained strong. The number of offers for sale decreased by 24.3% quarter-on-quarter and 38.1% year-on-year, reaching 24,748 offers. However, the price per square metre offered increased by 1.8% quarter-on-quarter and 12.7% year-on-year, reaching €944/m². The average sale price was €13,960, with a slight quarterly increase of 0.29%.
The rental market also experienced a significant contraction, with a 46.35% reduction in the number of offers. Despite this, the average rental price per square metre stood at €7.24/m² per month, 2.56% less than in the previous quarter. The report highlights the stability of prices, despite the lower supply available, indicating a constant demand in the garage sector.
