The garage market in Catalonia registered a 3.31% increase in the number of sales during the third quarter of 2021, reaching 9,331 transactions. This growth confirms the positive trend that the sector has maintained in recent quarters, reaching levels not seen since 2009. In year-on-year terms, a 19.36% increase in transactions was observed. The average price per square metre also registered a slight increase of 0.90%, standing at €1,117/m², while the average price per garage was €14,950, with a year-on-year stability of -0.12%.
The province of Barcelona accounted for the majority of activity, with 6,290 transactions and an average price of €16,187. In the city of Barcelona, garage prices rose by 1.71% quarterly, reaching €20,470, while the number of transactions remained stable. This report underlines the stability of the garage market in Catalonia, with moderate increases in prices and activity.
