The garage market in Catalonia recorded a slight increase in the number of sales during the fourth quarter of 2020. 7,444 transactions were reached, representing a quarterly increase of 2.89%, although the year-on-year total shows a decrease of -16.23%. Prices, for their part, continued to adjust downwards. The average price per square metre was €1,105/m², with a quarterly decrease of -0.92% and a year-on-year adjustment of -3.39%.
The average price per garage was €14,793, down -1.17% quarter-on-quarter and -3.43% year-on-year. In the province of Barcelona, 5,178 sales were recorded, while the average price per garage in the city of Barcelona was €20,159, down -8.26% year-on-year.
This report shows how the garage market in Catalonia has experienced a recovery in activity, but prices continue to decline due to moderate demand.
