The storage room market in Catalonia closed the first quarter of 2020 with an increase in sales, reaching 1,230 transactions, representing a quarterly increase of 8.85%. However, prices showed slight decreases, with the average price per square metre standing at €1,046/m², a fall of -1.08% compared to the previous quarter. Despite this quarterly reduction, the average price per storage room grew by 4.60% year-on-year, standing at €5,869.
In the province of Barcelona, 823 sales were recorded with an average price of €6,632 per storage unit, showing a year-on-year increase of 9.15%. In the city of Barcelona, prices remained stable, with an average price of €9,857 per storage unit.
