The storage room market in Catalonia recorded an increase in the number of sales offers during the fourth quarter of 2022, although prices showed a marked decline. The number of sales offers was 1,228, representing a quarterly increase of 31.34%, but the average price per square metre fell by 22.02% to €789/m². The average price per storage room also fell, standing at €5,507, a 15.69% decrease compared to the previous quarter.
The storage rental market followed a similar trend, with the number of offers increasing by 12.53%, reaching 844. However, rental prices per square metre fell by 8.37%, standing at €18.71/m² per month.
Despite the increase in the supply of storage rooms, this report indicates a correction in both sales and rental prices, which could indicate greater flexibility in the market in the coming months.
