The storage room market in Catalonia experienced a reduction in the volume of sales offers during the third quarter of 2022, although prices maintained an upward trend. There were 935 offers for storage rooms for sale, which represents a quarterly decrease of -7.43% and a year-on-year drop of -8.24%. Despite this reduction in the number of offers, the average price per square metre was €1,012/m², with a slight quarterly drop of -7.43%, but with a year-on-year increase of 5.88%. The average sale price of storage rooms was €6,532, showing a quarterly increase of 8.80%.
The storage rental market also showed positive performance, with a 17.74% increase in the number of rental offers. The average rental price per square metre was €20.42, with a quarterly increase of 1.39%. At provincial level, Barcelona stood out with the highest sales prices, with an average price of €1,246/m².
This report reflects an evolving market, with solid demand in the storage rental sector, while the sales market shows signs of moderation.
