Garage Market Report in Catalonia– Q2 2022

The garage market in Catalonia showed an increase in sales offers during the second quarter of 2022. 37,697 sales offers were registered, representing a quarterly increase of 9.37% and a year-on-year improvement of 4.24%. However, the price per square metre offered remained relatively stable, with a slight quarterly decrease of -0.05%, standing at €1,008/m². The average sales price per garage was €14,239, with a slight quarterly drop of -1.17%. On the other hand, the garage rental market experienced a 7.49% reduction in the number of offers, although rental prices rose slightly, with a 0.92% increase in the price per square metre and a year-on-year improvement of 3.64%. This behaviour reflects a constant demand, despite the contraction in the supply available for rent.
