The storage unit market in Catalonia continued its positive trend during the second quarter of 2025, with a general increase in supply and moderate price increases. A total of 1,095 storage units were listed for sale (up 6% quarter-on-quarter and up 16.3% year-on-year). The average price per square meter reached €1,278, representing an increase of 1.4% compared to the previous quarter and 5.3% compared to the previous year. The average price per unit was €7,308, a slight decrease of -0.7% quarter-on-quarter, although growth remained at 2.6% year-on-year.
As for rentals, the supply also increased: 1,275 storage units were available (up 3.7% quarter-on-quarter and up 22.4% year-on-year). The average monthly price was €105.80, 2.6% more than the previous quarter, while the price per square meter stood at €22.48/month (up 2.8%).
Barcelona leads the market in both volume and price. The province registered 746 storage units for sale (up 5.1%) and 1,087 for rent (up 3.8%). In the city of Barcelona, prices remain the highest: €2,972/m² for sale and €32.1/m² for rent. The average price per storage unit was €16,395, and the average monthly rent was €106.
The remaining provinces showed mixed results. Girona and Tarragona increased their supply, while Lleida experienced a slight decrease. Overall, prices remained stable or showed slight increases.
