The number of properties for sale fell by 2.7% compared to the previous quarter, reaching 35,796 units, although this still represents a 34.3% increase compared to last year. The average price per square meter increased by 0.5% quarter-on-quarter, reaching €1,333, while the average price per property stood at €237,234, with a rise of 0.6%.
In the rental market, 25,059 premises were counted (-1.7% quarterly), with an average monthly price of €1,996 (+0.5%) and a price per square meter of €11.59 (+0.9%).
Barcelona is the epicenter of market activity. The province registered 27,917 commercial properties for sale and 20,732 for rent. In the city of Barcelona, prices remain the highest: €2,165/m² for sale (+0.6%) and €17.96/m² for rent (+1.2%). The average monthly rent for commercial properties in the Catalan capital is €3,549 (+0.7%).
